Like many of you I am sure, I love knitting and doing crochet in winter. A kind of creative hyperactivity leads me to constantly start new projects before completing the previous one. Inevitably, some are finished but after my first crochet beanies you’ve seen here, I made a new one for my mom and I have also completed a snood which is knitted. It’s been awhile since I had done anything for my man. For his birthday in January, I started the creation of a knitted snood. From the book 400 points knitting Publishing Marie Claire, he chose the stitches he wanted before we discussed the feasibility and hoped rendering. In the end we chose a granita stitch with a twit in the center.
As I didn’t know the granita stitch I started doing a sample that has allowed me to have an overview of the rendering with the chosen yarn. From this sample, I deduced the number of cells to assemble and it was gone!
For the supplied, I used for a snood of 37 cm and a circumference of 84cm:
– 7.5 balls of size 7: Rapido color Oil from Phildar
– 1 pair of needle 7
– 1 cable needle
– 1 meter
– 4 markers
– 1 needle to connect the two ends of the structure to form the snood.
And here is the result! What do you think? It suits him not, doesn’t it?
