I continue my series on my trip to Barcelona and what a stay in Barcelona without the Sagrada Familia? I took a lot of pictures of this extraordinary cathedral. In the end, impossible for me to make a careful selection … And here no less than three dozens of photos of one of the greatest works of Gaudi. The monument is so much great that we went there first with the guide who he shared with us the story and a second time to take full view our leisurely pace. The park For our 2nd visit, we had the wonderful idea to have lunch in the park near the Sagrada Familia and all this greenery it had something quite enchanting!

The facades Before entering the precincts of the Sagrada Familia, we must often wait a while. Fortunately, even before you can see the many columns and stained glass windows, there is a real show already outside.

Life’s gate Here the facade all curves with sculptures about the birth of Jesus Christ. Hundreds, thousands of details breathtaking.

Passion’s gate In contrast, the front representation of Jesus Christ’s death is more sober and hard.

Inside Once past the door, I got an eyeful. I had never seen anything like this before. Light, color, columns dizzying and easing,  quite different from other ornate golden churches that remain dark.

The rise Via a lift and up a few steps you can reach the heights of the cathedral to admire the view of Barcelona as well as details of the facades.
