It’s been a long time since I have not shared with you here a hotspot, and yet I have a very good one for meat lovers. Santa Carne that is near Bastille serves Argentinean specialties and more important especially meat directly from Argentina and prepared in the tradition of the country.
Santa Carne – Argentine cuisine, specialty Argentine grilled meat
La qualité des mets It is not so much the size of the plate that is impressive but the size of the piece of beef. I had ordered a piece of 200gr of sirloin and it was 200gr of pure flavor. The meat was grilled just right to keep it tender. Even the assortment of Argentina ordered by my Man who loves well-cooked meat was far from being a piece of grilled sole. The dishes are served with small potatoes and a green salad with a few pieces of watermelon and a little more flavor, the chef offers a selection of four sauces. In short, the food was very good! For cons, I was less convinced by the desserts: tiramisu called « Nathamisu » were too loaded with alcohol for me and the « Black orgasm » was really nothing more for me.
Settings With a soft light, well laid tables and a rather refined decoration, the settings of Santa Carne is quite pleasant. Unfortunately for us, that evening there was a table of 10 people so it was a bit noisy.
Service Nothing special to say.
Price It costs 23€ for main course with a piece of meat, it may seem a bit expensive but the taste is well worth it. With one bottle of wine, 4 dishes and 4 desserts we spent 180€ anyway.
