It’s been awhile since I haven’t talked about new tested addresses ! So today, I’ll tell you about a restaurant located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris.
Le Belmont – French/american food
Taste of th meal
To start the evening, my 4 friends and I took a drink. Not having the habit of drinking alcohol, I chose a Nutella milkshake but unfortunately it was not very good.
For the starter, I chose the empanadas of Buenos aires with meat. New disappointment because the dough was very floury, without much taste and the sauce was strange. Around the table, the plate of Antipasti has not been a great success. Only Royan ravioli with U.S. was ok.
For the main course, I chose the safe bet, the cheeseburger and again I was very disappointed : the bread was too thick and very hard to the point that I did not eat a 1/3 of it. The was a lack of cheese while it was indeed a cheeseburger. The fries were not bad but in my opinion industry. The Chicken burger with chicken farmer wasn’t very good neither. By the way, my friends liked the roast cod and mashed potatoes and the sliced cajun chicken.
One dessert on the table, a tiramisu that was disappointing: it is not even served with cocoa powder!
Setting
If the food of this restaurant is extremely disappointed, I must confess that this is a very beautiful place. The decor is both bohemian, vintage and chic without overdoing it with a very high ceiling.
Service Nothing special.
Prices It costs between 3,70€ and 10,50€ for a starter, between 15,50€ and 29€ for a main course and between 7,20€ et 10,50€ for a desssert. I think it’s overpriced for the quality of food that I found quite poor.
