Last week, I ventured to go outside the 13th arrondissement of Paris for Chinese food. Does it worth it? Not really. Here are the details of my experience of Les pâtes vivantes (living pastas) in the center of Paris.
Les pâtes vivantes – Chinese food
Taste of the meal With 3 friends of mine, we tested the famous Chinese fresh pasta made on site and in front of our eyes. I confess that I was pretty excited but I was rather disappointed. If the dishes are tasty (and this is rather a good point because it is not always the case), I found my pasta sauteed with shrimp very oily and shrimp were absent with only four specimens my plate…
Setting This is an address just like the restaurants of the 13th district with a little extra effort on decoration. That said, sheets are in the plastic… And big difference, the kitchen is open and you can see the cooks stretch pasta.
Service Nothing special
Price Prices are correct for the area but a bit more expensive than in the 13th arrondissement.
