From the Piazza del Popolo, along the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo, we can reach a staircase that give access to the Pincio gardens of Villa Borghese. We got lucky this morning when we had the right to rain the rest of the weekend … A beautiful sun, bright and warm, but you will see from the photos, the sky is covered with impressive speed. With a view height of the Villa Borghese, we saw the approaching dark clouds threatening.

Seeing these clouds, we took refuge in a bar-restaurant in the gardens. We waited out the storm, but nothing. We unfortunately lost time and that we cut our visit.

Leaving the bar, we headed to the Piazza di Spagna with Barccacia fountain. Here are some pictures of the stairs and the Chiesa della Trinita dei Monti and of course the famous fountain.
